Bloodmoon on a bloody blue Monday

A blue Monday, mathematically the day where people are most depressed. Combined with the fact that there was a total lunar-eclypse turning the moon into a dramatic red marble. When I heard the news a few days before I instantly knew this was a small side project for me. And it seems banal, if you’re not active on social media, you might not even have noticed it, but snapping these fases of the moon and seeing Earth’s only permanent natural satellite changing color when completely in our planet’s shadow is fascinating. I try to live by the fact that the more you learn about something, the more you’ll appreciate it, even if you have to set you alarm clock to 4.30am. Totally unprofessional with a Canon Eos 550D and a 15-85 lens, but stil. Maybe one day I’ll purchase myself a telescope …
